What your heater’s air handler does

This is accomplished through a refrigerant that circulates through the coil and removes heat from the air

Another workweek in the bucket and it looks like this weekend is going to be a nice one. Today we will go for a train ride to another city with the kids and look around, we may even ride some of the rides at the amusement park too. The kids are getting big enough where we don’t have to watch them every second so it makes for a more fun time when we go on these days trips with them. Other than that, we will be getting our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system cleaned, namely the air handler. So we will tell you a bit about how that works. An air handler is a important component of an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system and is responsible for circulating air throughout a building. A correct air handler has various key parts including: Blower motor: This is the heart of the air handler and its primary function is to circulate air through the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system. It is powered by an electric motor and is responsible for generating the airflow that is distributed through the air duct. Evaporator coil: The evaporator coil is located inside the air handler and is responsible for absorbing heat from the indoor air. This is accomplished through a refrigerant that circulates through the coil and removes heat from the air. Filter: The HEPA filter is responsible for removing debris and particulates from the air before it is distributed into the building. This helps to improve indoor air quality and prevent the buildup of dirt and debris inside the air handler. Overall, these parts work together to supply a comfortable indoor environment by regulating the temperature, improving indoor air quality, and removing unwanted moisture.
