I grew up in a home with an abusive dad.
I guess that I got pretty lucky because I only had to deal with him for 10 years of my life before she was out of the picture.
My mom, on the other hand, was married to him for about 25 years. Throughout that time she controlled nearly every aspect of her life. She determined where she was allowed to work, how she was allowed to dress, plus who she was allowed to friend with. With all of that in mind, I have tried to be the exact opposite kind of partner to my wifey. I never forbid her from doing a single thing, however I know some of her social associations are not wonderful for us. In particular, her best friend is a really drawback influence when it comes to our biweekly bills plus family finances. I am sure that her friend has no idea how much she impacts our biweekly utilities, heating plus cooling maintenance costs, plus indoor air quality overall. She certainly doesn’t understand how influential she is when she discusses her professional heating plus cooling maintenance appointments. However, I can tell you that her reliance on the central heating plus cooling maintenance shop down the street has certainly rubbed off on my wifey plus created issues. It seems like my wifey’s best friend is constantly having her indoor air handling devices worked on plus substituted. As a result, my wifey tends to call our heating plus cooling supplier way too often. I can’t stop my wifey from interacting with her best friend… But I wish she would take the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist off her speed dial.
