Periodically I honestly wish that my family would move. I know that they are settled in the section where they reside however I feel like they have a lot of downside influences all around them. For instance, my mom is a bit too active in his local church group, but don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with having your own religious beliefs or internal faith systems. The concern is when your faith system starts to override your adequate thinking. Recently, it’s become clear that my mom has crossed the line into unadequate living standards. The last time I visited his he had really no indoor air temperature control to keep his house comfortable in this horrific heat. Of course, I wanted to help his with his central heating and cooling problems. I asked over and over again if it was his a/c unit or thermostat that needed to be repaired. She told me, simply, that he didn’t know what was wrong with the Heating and A/C system but he was sure that it would work itself out. Apparently he had really high quarterly bills for the past multiple years and never mentioned that his Heating and A/C machine wasn’t laboring so well. She never bothered to call a professional heating and cooling professional that entire time. When I asked about his reluctance to utilize a certified heating, cooling, and air quality control specialist he simply shrugged his shoulders. She told me that there is no need to arrange for a professional Heating and A/C inspection to maintenance the high quarterly bills or broken a/c because she’s been praying about it.
