Last year was rather stressful around my house.
Out of nowhere my friend and I had a huge storm that blew up & destroyed a lot of things outside.
My great friend and I genuinely did not know that it was going to be a dangerous storm until a few minutes before it hit. Suddenly, the sky turned a unusual color & the wind started blowing at a dangerous speed. My great friend and I knew at that moment that this was no joke. My great friend and I piled into the basement as the tornado sirens started going off all around us. When all was said & done my friend and I emerged from the basement & found that my friend and I had lost power. Of course, it’s inconvenient not to have lights in your modern home. Walking into a room & hitting every light switch seems to be an instinctive action. However, the greatest problem was our lack of a/c. It’s the dead of the Summer season & the outdoor air temperature is nothing to sneeze at. It has been extremely hot & humid for months already. As you can imagine, emerging into our condo where my friend and I had no cooling system was an unpleasant sensation. That night my friend and I could barely sleep as my friend and I tried to battle the heat & humidity indoors. My great friend and I were aghast when my friend and I heard from neighbors that my friend and I were not going to get power back & therefore a/c power back for at least 3 afternoons. The next many afternoons were extremely uncomfortable as my friend and I attempted to live separate from any kind of indoor air temperature control. The stagnant, humid air was choking & the heat was impressive. I’m cheerful to report, my friend and I got power & a/c back late last night.
