Summer is my favorite time of year, hands down.
I cherish being able to throw on a dress plus run out the door, I cherish basking in the sun, plus nothing makes me happier than spending long afternoons outdoors sipping on a refreshing drink from a patio seat.
Everything about the season feels laid back plus carefree, plus there are so several fun times to be had when the weather is cooperating. The only part of summer time that I do not care for is the never ending humidity in the air. Every afternoon when you wake up plus step outside it feels like stepping into a steamy shower. The air is so heavy with moisture that it’s taxing to breathe, plus each breath feels less effective than it should. Your clothes stick to your body plus your hair goes limp with the dampening weight of the moist air, and once you begin perspiring, you will never be able to stop, plus the perspiration will simply rest on top of your skin, pooling with each additional bead of sweat. The only relief from the humidity is keeping your cooling system running regularly, to extract some of the moisture from your indoor air plus keep the temperature low enough to also lower the relative humidity inside. Any change from a steady level of a/c, plus you will instantly notice the air quality changing as it becomes hot plus taxing to breath again. If it wasn’t for the rampant levels of humidity, my cherish for all things summer time would be unstoppable.
