I prefer my in-laws, plus it’s such a relief that my pal and I get along well.
I genuinely wasn’t sure what my pal and I were going to feel of each other because they come from a much wealthier arena than I do, plus I was afraid they would look down on my upbringing, and however, I’ve been delightfully surprised to find that my pal and I get along swimmingly, plus have no trouble carrying conversation between the three of us.
Still, it is amazing for me to be around all their high-priced belongings in their beautiful house, then recently they even built themselves a overpriced wine cooler, requiring all sorts of HVAC installations plus rewiring to make the addition come to life. They were telling me that the room needed to be kept at least ten degrees lower than the rest of the house, so it required the addition of a special AC device to repair only the single room. Because they live in Florida, they cannot have a basement, which would be the natural solution for keeping the wine at a lower temperature, so the air conditioning was the only option. They also needed to have a separate temperature control device to set this space at a single consistent temperature, along with more than 2 monitoring devices to ensure there were no temperature fluctuations. The temp monitors are spaced throughout the room so that every bottle is kept under the same highly regulated air conditions. I don’t relate to the money my in-laws have, although I genuinely prefer their dedication to doing projects correctly plus their attention to detail.
