I love my boyfriend so much, and I always want him to be happy.
I also give him a really hard time by being an emotional and difficult woman, and I understand his need to get away from me sometimes. I realize that he needs his own space and I don’t want to deprive him of all the manly things that he would rather be doing than talking about animals or furniture with me. That’s why I gave him my blessing to establish his very own man cave recently, and I’ve been contributing money to any manipulations which have been required to make his dream a reality. This has included completely overhauling our HVAC system, so that his man cave can be specially regulated for maximum comfort. You see, I am always cold. Even in the summer time, I’m often covered in goosebumps and wrapping myself in blankets. I keep the air conditioning on at a very low level, and often I turn the central cooling off entirely so that I can get work done without shivering. My boyfriend, on the other hand, loves air conditioning and always wants the temperature lower than I’m willing to deal with. So for his new manly room, we decided to get a separate air conditioning system to service only his dude space. We had a new AC unit installed, along with a separate temperature control unit which he can even adjust from his phone. His special room is as cool and dry as could be, and he’s a happy camper.
