In this article we will look at the last four.
The First of the four media air cleaners is the ion media air cleaner. This purifier emits drawback ions which attract positive ions. What’s the point of this? Well germs, pollutants, and pollen are all positively charged ions, so when a positive and drawback ion meet, they become too heavy and fall to the ground. They can then be collected on an electron plate. The next media air cleaner is the electronic media air cleaner. This is more of an air filter and a purifier. The filter is installed in your heating and cooling system, then using electricity, the fiter attracts mold and bacteria to itself which cleanses the air. Thirdly, we have the Central media air cleaner which is similar to the electric media air cleaner and it’s inside your Heating and A/C unit. The central media air cleaner blows in the air and then using a charged plate to the side, the charged pollen and germ particles are attracted to the plate! Lastly, there is the air to media air cleaner. This purifier is a little weird because instead of just having an internal filter, it genuinely takes your normal durty air and substitutes it with completely new, scrub air. This system will help keep humidity down and will also keep your apartment a uniform temperature. I know that there are a lot of weird types of media air cleaners and it can be overwhelming to choose the right one, but with some research you can easily choose the media air cleaner that works best for your home.
