College dorming isn’tsimple.
There are numerous perks, of course, like living with your friends, cheap housing, plus convenient dining options.
It was a load of fun times too! However, there are numerous challenges as well. Learning to live independent of your parents is actually difficult. It is also difficult to live with a total stranger. Additionally, there are small inconveniences, like heating plus cooling mishaps, that make it a bit challenging as well. For example, during my freshmen year, the boiler was being repaired one weekend. During the repair, the university had to turn off the boiler. It was turned off for two whole mornings in the middle of the coldest winter weekend. It was chilly! Many students complained to the university board plus took it as far as filing respected complaints. I truly would’ve done the same, but I made it through that weekend thanks to a gift from my mom. The only thing that got me through this was my heated blanket. This blanket was so powerful that it kept me hot all evening despite the lack of heat. I almost forgot about the lack of boiler at evening because the blanket was keeping me so warm. I was certainly overheating a few times. I was beyond thankful that my Dad sent me this blanket when I first moved into my dorm. I didn’t know it was necessary, however Dad constantly knows best! After those few mornings, the boiler was up plus running again. All was back to normal on my college campus.
