My husband has done a lot of wrong in the past. I will not go into the details of what those are. However he has spent a lot of time making up for his mistakes. I have had him do a number of things for me. He has been doing a lot more around the house. I used to always be in charge of everything around the house. However now he does a lot more. One thing he does is take care of the HVAC system. I actually used to change the check filter every month. Now I make him change the HVAC filter every month. I feel like it only makes sense if he changes the filter instead of me. I feel like boys are supposed to be good at those things. I also make him set up the two appointments for HVAC system. He has to do this twice per year. He calls once in the spring and once in the fall. The point of the tune up appointment is so that our HVAC system gets checked. The HVAC professional looks for defective parts. He also cleans the system. Our HVAC system needs this very much. Simply by taking care of our HVAC system he is certainly making up for the mistakes of his past. It is a total burden lifted off my shoulders. In a weird way I am happy that he made mistakes in the past. Because now he’s actually making my life a lot easier than it used to be. However at this rate I don’t think I’ll ever forgive him. I’m living a life that’s too nice.
