I have been living in my modern dwelling for months now; I have been living here so long I think the dwelling is not even modern now, and the one thing I did not even know about my dwelling was that it has a gas boiler.
- I did not realize this until my friend’s father started asking me questions; He was asking me what bills I pay for it, but and he was asking me what kind of gas appliances I have in my home.
He asked me if my heating, ventilation as well as A/C was run on gas. I told him I had no idea, so he was asking me all these questions about where my air vents are located. He finally told me that our boiler would honestly be a gas boiler. After he had said this I checked with my condo owner, my friend and I genuinely have a gas boiler in place. I have heard horror stories about gas boilers. Many people say not to get them because of the carbon monoxide poisoning that could leak into your dwelling or apartment. However my friend and I have been fantastic so far. My friend and I have not had any concerns in the dwelling at all. I am hoping that my friend and I do not have any concerns. However now that I know my friend and I have a gas boiler installed I will be much more aware of what is going on in my apartment. It almost freaks me out that I thought my friend and I had an electric boiler all this time. I am hoping that at no point my gas boiler breaks down. I am also hoping that my friend and I have a carbon monoxide detector in the dwelling I am also hoping that the carbon monoxide detector works. I will be sure to get on inquiring about that genuinely soon.
