Sporadically I genuinely wish that my family would move.
I know that they are settled in the part where they reside however I feel like they have a lot of downside influences all around them.
For instance, my mom is a bit too active in her local church group, however don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with having your own religious beliefs or internal faith systems. The problem is when your faith system starts to override your acceptable thinking. Recently, it’s become clear that my mom has crossed the line into unsatisfactory living standards. The last time I visited her she had genuinely no indoor air temperature control to keep her condo comfortable in this horrific heat. Of course, I wanted to help her with her central heating & cooling problems. I asked over & over again if it was her a/c unit or control unit that needed to be repaired. She told me, simply, that she did not know what was wrong with the Heating & A/C system even though she was sure that it would work itself out. Apparently she had genuinely high energy bills for the past many years & never mentioned that her Heating & A/C equipment wasn’t toiling so well. She never bothered to call a professional heating & cooling serviceman that entire time. When I asked about her reluctance to utilize a certified heating, cooling, & air quality control specialist she simply shrugged her shoulders. She told me that there’s no need to arrange for a professional Heating & A/C inspection to service the high energy bills or broken a/c because she is been praying about it.
