I’m not sure if you’ve ever lived in a formidable temperature like I have, but let me tell you how strenuous it can make life.
Every season feels like a personal attack on your well-being, & there’s nothing you can do except to strap in & take on the current challenges head on while waiting for the relief of the next season.
There’s rarely a day that feels comfortable or care-free, & you’re consistently having to think ahead to the next looming disaster which will be brought in by the changing winds. For instance, the year starts with a brutal winter season chill & piles of snow. It’s bitterly freezing outside, & the only relief available is to keep your boiler running tepid & heavy all season. It gets overpriced to power a boiler this much, but the alternative chances are including a fireplace or space boilers in your heating repertoire, if you are so lucky as to own these heating supplements. It’s impossible to appreciate anything outside, & every second spent outdoors you are counting down to the time when you can re-enter the comfort of your heated home again. The outdoor air is so cold that it’s strenuous to breath & your fingers go numb within moments; standing in front of an air vent & trying to thaw them out is a long & painful process that you can look forward to indoors. It’s a annoyed & trying time of year, & it’s insanely overpriced to simply keep your home at a livable temperature for 6 months on end.
