I cherish grocery shopping, and it is one of my number one parts of the week.
My town has a great little store that offers the freshest fruits and vegetables.
They also have the greatest variety of grocery items. To top it all off, they have a great prepared foods part where you can buy everything from pizza to english cuisine. I always go shopping around breakfast time and finish my trip off with a visit to the prepared foods section. Their foods are so yummy! I take my time during this shopping trip because the grocery store is my excited site. The only part of shopping that I don’t cherish is the temperature swings. Going from the aisles of cereal products to the frozen food part is like a temperature shock to my body. I am always chilly when I walk through that section! I know that the part is supposed to keep foods frozen, but it’s not supposed to keep the people that walk through it frozen too! I do not understand why the temperature control is set so low. I always run through this part into the comfortable hot and cold temperatures of other sections, like the bakery. The warmth that I experience when I leave that part is so welcome. Getting through that discomfort is the only part of shopping that I do not particularally enjoy. Everything else is always enjoyable for me, then after selecting my frozen foods, I reward myself with a delicious tepid meal from the prepared foods section. It is the only thing that helps me push through that frozen section!
