My university graduation gift was a beautiful, new car.
Imagine my excitement when my parents showed me this generous gift! The car was brand new and had some amazing features! My number one feature on the car was the furnace.
The powerful heating and heated seats got me through some difficult times, then for example, a few months after I got my car, a rock was thrown through a window and shattered it. This happened in the middle of the night and I never caught the man who did it. I have my suspicions though. Any way, it took numerous afternoons before I had a opportunity to have it repaired. It was difficult to deal with because it was in the middle of winter, but I taped plastic over the window to avoid the winds and dealt with it. The only reason I survived was because of the powerful heating and heated seats. These two things kept me sizzling despite the winter season weather and lack of window. I would blast them at full speed for ten minutes before I got in the car and it would create a warm, cozy environment for me. I swear this was my saving grace. My friends couldn’t know that it worked so well. When my Mom finally took me to get the window replaced, I had to disclose that it didn’t make that much of a difference for my comfort. It was a bit warmer than before, however the furnace did such a great task beforehand that I was typically warm. It was kind of unbelievable!
