I am always traveling around the country and around the world.
I love taking trips and taking some time away from home.
Even domestic flights are exciting for me. My favorite part of taking these trips is take off. The excitement I feel when the plane takes off is indescribable. Knowing that I will soon be in a new place and experience new things makes me so happy. My least favorite part of traveling is the cool temperature of the airplane. No matter where I am traveling to or where I’m traveling from, the temperature of the plane is always ridiculously cold. I can never escape it. The small vent above my seat is always turned off, but I can’t control everyone else’s seat vents. All of those vents really add up to a ridiculously cold atmosphere. I also realize that because of the altitude, it is much colder, but I don’t understand why airplane engineers designed them so that they are so cold. I would think that they would consider the altitude and design the planes so that they can keep the passengers warm instead. I’ve tried a variety of solutions to combat this discomfort, but none have solved the problem entirely. I have found that the most effective thing to do is to dress in layers and to wear warm clothes. This means that even if I have a flight that is in the middle of summer, I wear sweaters to keep myself warm. It would be nice if airplanes offered thicker blankets. Maybe it would be a better solution than wearing thick clothing!
