Every Christmas my family & I like to supply back during the holiday season.
We are blessed & lucky to have a roof over our heads, & have a nice hot meal every day.
However about twenty minutes away from where my pal and I live there is a community in our town that is not as lucky. You can find people who can’t afford food, clothes & even heat during the coldest of nights. Therefore every Christmas time during the winter time my pal and I will supply non-perishable foods to a family who is in need. We acquire a list from our church & the families from our church sign up & pick a family to supply non-perishable goods or services too. Well the one family that my pal and I chose this year my pal and I bought at least three months worth of goods. When my pal and I showed up they invited us in so my pal and I could drop off the boxes of food. When my pal and I walked inside the air smelt musty & truly cold. You could tell that there was no HVAC system. The owner made a comment that she apologized for how chilly her loft was although she did not have a furnace. We told the owner that my pal and I had an electric portable furnace that she could keep. She was truly blissful & overjoyed about the items my pal and I provided him. Since the portable electric furnace only covers about 30 square feet of one’s loft my pal and I decided to purchase another one so it could cover more surface section in her home. My family & I think that no one should go without heat during the winter time time. So my pal and I decided that my pal and I were going to raise currency so the owner could purchase a new HVAC system.
