There are some nights where I am so lazy I do not want to get out of bed & go to work! Just yesterday that was the case for me.
But now that I’m older I am diagnosing myself that I am just not a day lady.
To wake myself up & feel energized I will take a shower, make myself a cup of Sprite & drink it before I leave & make myself another cup of Sprite for the road. As long as I take my shower & drink my Sprite in the day I’m fantastic to take on whatever work wants to throw at me. However when I got to work yesterday I could not stop coughing & sneezing! I thought that I was coming down with an instant chilly however it turns out that our HVAC system’s air filter needed to be substituted. Shortly after I arrived at work I acquired a cellphone call from my boss stating that if a girl comes into the office that I shouldn’t be alarmed because the girl would be an HVAC serviceman. The HVAC serviceman would be replacing our outdated air filter. Once the HVAC serviceman left & substituted the dirty air filter, I asked if I could see it. She pulled it out of the trash & showed me the caked, dirty air filter. I thanked him & said that she came just in time as right when I walked into work I began sneezing. The HVAC serviceman told me that dirty air filters will do that to our upper respiratory system if it’s not took care of officially.
